METTI KIVIKANTO

Hi, I’m Metti, an event and marketing freelancer and an university level business student based in Helsinki, Finland. My journey in events began in 2019 when I worked my first jobs as a promoter.
I quickly fell in love with the industry and nowadays, alongside promoting, I do event production and social media marketing.

Inspired by the people and companies I’ve had an opportunity to work with, my close friend and I created our own creative event studio.
This has led me to organize events in Paris and Helsinki.  

I would describe myself as a creative person with a business mindset

and that’s why I’m studying a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Vaasa.

When I’m given a full creative freedom, I draw inspiration from contrasts. Minimalist and neutral tones mixed with industrial roughness. 

I’m very interested in the journey of the product, whether it’s an event or a basic everyday good. 
How can we create and promote something in a way it makes people feel? How do you sell the feeling and not just the product?

Fashion is one of my biggest interest and I follow closely on what’s happening in the industry in Finland and worldwide. 

Outside of work, I love solo traveling. This “hobby” has taken me to live and learn in Paris and Milan, as well as to visit many different cities in Europe and Asia.
